    Recently completed in late 2007, Rock Mill Park in the City of Alpharetta, Georgia is a
    study in sustainable site design. The project, from conception through construction, is a
    model of progressive erosion, sedimentation and pollution control (ESPC). From the
    implementation and monitoring of seep berms and other construction phase best
    management practices to the creation of bio-retention cells, enhanced swales and a
    constructed wetland, Rock Mill Park effectively treats storm-water runoff at its source.
    Mike Breedlove, RLA, FASLA, CPESC, LEED AP and Alan Wieczynski, RLA, ASLA,
    LEED AP of Breedlove Land Planning, Inc. will provide an overview of the design and
    highlight many of these sustainable site features in detail. Mike is also Chairman of the
    Rockdale Soil and Water Conservation District and Chairman of the Georgia State
    Board of Landscape Architects.
10:00 Reuse and Recycling of Construction and Demolition Materials - Steve Smith - Environmental Engineer, US Environmental Protection Agency, Region 4, RCRA Programs & Materials Management Branch, Materials Management Section, Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center, 10th Floor, 61 Forsyth St. SW, Atlanta GA 30303-3104, Office: 404-562-8501, Email: smith.steve@epa.gov

    such as ethanol for transportation fuels; electrical power; compressed wood fuel pellets;
    and thermal energy for agricultural, residential, and industrial applications. We'll discuss
    the Georgia bioenergy company projects that have made news announcements, those
    that have applied for permits, and those that have begun construction. We'll examine
