Please come join us for our annual meeting to be held Thursday 15 October 2009 at the LEED-Gold-Certified Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center ( http://www.gwinnettehc.org/) in Buford GA. We have assembled an eclectic group of speakers to address the theme of "Climate and Conservation: Planning for our Future". Thirty-minute presentations will address the different avenues of (a) conservation in construction developments, (b) energy alternatives and conservation, and (c) water use and conservation. A business meeting of the Georgia SWCS will be held Friday 16 October 2009 at 10 am at the USDA Watkinsville Research Center, 1420 Experiment Station Road, Watkinsville GA.

Registration fee for the program is $30, which includes lunch and breaks, admittance to the museum and learning facilities at the GEHC, and presentation of Blue Planet.
