Previous Meetings
- The 2011 Annual Meeting of the Georgia Chapter of the SWCS was jointly held with the South Carolina Chapter of the SWCS on 27 May 2011 at Hickory Knob State Park near McCormick SC. Presentations from the meeting will be posted on the "Training" page of our website.
- The 2010 Annual Meeting of the Georgia Chapter of the SWCS was held 21-22 May 2010 at the Jekyll Island Convention Center. This was a joint meeting with the South Carolina Chapter of the SWCS. The theme of the meeting was: “Water Resources and Sustainability”. Presentations from the meeting can be found on the "Training" page of our website.
- The 2009 Annual Meeting of the Georgia Chapter of the SWCS was held on 15 October 2009 at the LEED-Gold-Certified Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center in Buford GA. The Theme of the meeting was: “Climate and Conservation: Planning for our Future”. Most presentations from the meeting can be found on the "Training" page of our website.
- The 2008 Annual Meeting of the Georgia Chapter of the SWCS was held as a joint meeting with the Georgia Chapter of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) and Southeast Chapter of International Erosion Control Association (IECA) in Athens GA from 4-6 June 2008. The Theme of the meeting was: “Meeting Together to Provide Solutions”. Look to the August 2008 Newsletter for a summary and highlights from the meeting.
