Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center

The Georgia Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society is leading a multi-organizational effort to help develop soils exhibits for the newly developed Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center at 2020 Clean Water Drive, Buford GA 30519.  Efforts began in January 2007 with the initiative of Mr. Ellis Lamme, Region I Vice-President of the Georgia SWCS. 

Committees have been established to develop:

1. Outdoor soil stations along walking trail
2. Interactive, computer soil game
3. Video tour of soils underground (long-term proposal)
