We publish The Journal of Soil and Water Conservation, a scientific journal; Conservation Voices: Listening to the Land, a magazine for the practitioner; and the Conservogram, a newsletter. We also have Environmental Adventures cartoon booklets as well as an array of books. The Certified Professionals in Erosion and Sediment Control Program (CPESC®), co-sponsored by SWCS, is a certification program. We are involved in a variety of conferences and educational training dealing with conservation issues. The SWCS Annual Conference is an event which offers topics of special interest and networking activities to our members and guests. Scholarships, unique opportunities, and discounts are available through SWCS for members. See the President’s Message for Georgia Chapter events and sponsorships.
